Our deadline of September 25th came and went and we now have 27 of our graduates have registered to be present for all the festivities. The reunion committee has been coming through like champs and every effort is appreciated for the hard work from Linda Sue, Dorathea, Dale, Butch & Betty. The telephone conference call every Monday evening has been a blessing to keep down driving expenses. Add to the mix the extremely good use of the internet for communicating almost on a daily basis.
Our classmates are traveling in from such places as Oceanside, CA, Georgetown, TX, Williston, ND, Winter Park, FL, and Mount Dora, FL.
We are looking forward to the visit, good times, and good food.

DHS 50th Year Reunion
Dear Readers,
A great endeavor is underway to bring together all the living graduates DeSoto High School, Class of 1959 in Arcadia, Florida. This class graduated 60+ students on June 6, 1959. At this time there are 44 still among the living. It is my hope that we will see more than 50% of the living classmates gathering at the reunion festivities beginning October 9th and continuing through our banquet (feast). The reunion banquet will be held at the Arcadia Woman's Club.
If anyone has not gathered on our new web site, I invite you to come and visit. The URL or web address is: http://www.desotohighschoolreunion1959.org/.
